ROMET CUT
Bale opener with output material cutting
ROMET CUT is the latest machine of the series of machines for processing and opening of straw and hay bales, which is based on proven ROMET series. The material being processed is divided into short pieces using five or 6 blades on each of six vanes of a turbine wheel with the counter-blades. The counter-blades have their inclination and retracting depth adjustable, which may configure the output fraction size for different material types. The machine is fitted with adjustable hydraulic drive for the movable floor conveyor, a new type of transmission to increase revolutions of the turbine wheel up to 620 revs/min, hydraulic switchgear controlled by an electric controller from the driver’s cab, and auxiliary controller on the left hand side to load the bales. A bale is loaded using the hydraulic tilting front side and the floor conveyor to move the bale to the opening cylinder.
Size of output material depends on type and size of input material, but in general, about 70–80% of output material has lengths up to 50mm, and remaining 20–30% is londer.
The semitrailer is manufactured in two options with two sets of counter-blades (each set has 6 or 7 blades). ROMET CUT variant has rotary and folding exhaust with range of up to 18 metres. Rotary stack allows rotary movement of the exhaust in 220° angle with potential spreading on both sides and behind, and when the exhaust stack is folded down, spreading immediately next to the truck. ROMET CUT FIX variant has three sets of the counter-blades with fixed exhaust to the right and adjustable spreading distance up to 15 m.
