ROMET PAS
Bale opener with bi-directional belt conveyor
ROMET PAS complements the series of machines manufactured by STS Olbramovice, a.s. designed for feeding into feeding corridors or troughs, or bedding e.g. into beds. ROMET PAS type uses a bi-directional belt conveyor instead of the spreader, with hydraulic drive for side unloading with substantially reduced dustiness. The machine of this type is intended in particular for bedding or feeding at shorter distance in stables with deepbed and free housing of animals. The lateral conveyor can transport the opened straw or fodder up to 1.5m. The bedding and feeding distances can be selected by the speed of included hydraulic motor. It can process both round and square bales. Hydraulic tilting rear side allows loading of the bales to the movable bottom. Removal of the mass off the bales is provided by an adapted milling cylinder with a large number of replaceable blades and high speed.
All machine functions are electrically and hydraulically controlled from the tractor driver’s cab. ROMET PAS bale opener is available in two volume sizes. ROMET PAS version can process up to 2 round bales, extended ROMET PAS L version processes up to 3 round bales of diameter of 180 cm.
